JOB TITLE: Senior Consultant cum E-Marketer to become Country Head

SUMMARY: InsuranceInAsia.com, an emerging web-based insurance consulting company with 20-years of experience and large client base, is looking for Senior Consultants to spearhead our expansion throughout Asia. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated and has excellent judgment, critical thinking skills, and an advisor spirit. The ideal candidate has sales experience and management skills, and is willing to be located (or is willing to relocate) to Asia. This person can be an expat or local resident, but he/she must speak English and preferably an Asian language. Preference for candidates committed to living and working in Asia.

This position is ideal for an internationally-minded person who is ready to take his/her career to the next level, from consultant to manager to partner/entrepreneur in one business unit. The candidate must be prepared to assume responsibility at large for one business unit. It may be suitable for e-marketing professionals who want to embrace new technologies or tech savvy professionals who want to re-orientate their careers toward business.

Remuneration is a mix of fixed salary, commissions, bonuses, stock options, up to partnership shareholding. Training and support will be provided. The office can be virtual, or in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, or Phnom Penh. More offices in Asia to come.

Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Cultivate opportunities and generate leads through extensive networking amongst expat communities in Asia
  • Develop, nurture and close opportunities through exemplary client servicing; provide up-to-date information on InsuranceInAsia products.
  • Develop and continually refine a sales process that generates qualified leads
  • Update and maintain prospect database
  • Network and build contacts

Marketing and Management

  • Marketing material—work closely with head office to produce sales and marketing support and promotional material, client newsletters, etc.
  • Serve as the primary contact in the region/country, and maintain and manage a local (virtual) office

Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will:
  • Hold a degree in business, marketing, IT/engineering with a strong bias towards business, or a related discipline.
  • Have solid analytical skills, an attention to detail, and strong writing skills from the service industry
  • Be knowledgeable and experienced in online marketing and e-business platforms
  • Have excellent critical thinking, customer servicing, and communications skills.
  • Have a collaborative working style and be a people-person
  • Be able to prioritize and manage projects effectively and be able to deliver on promises
  • Be a self-starter, but also committed to working within an international team.
  • Have a client-servicing mindset.
