Since October 2024. Expatriate Care by Raffles Specialists (a member of Raffles Medical Group), located at Level 3 of the American International Hospital (AIH), is dedicated and designed to cater to the diverse healthcare needs of international patients and their companions residing in or visiting Vietnam.

Staffed by a team of multinational doctors and specialists from the esteemed Raffles Medical Group, Expatriate Care ensures a focus on delivering high-quality care tailored to the unique requirements of our international and expatriate patients.

Services offered by Expatriate Care at AIH include:

  • One-stop information desk located on the 3rd Floor of the American International Hospital (AIH) to provide information on medical services and hospital facilities.
  • Arranging medical appointments and providing language support in English, Japanese, Korean, and other languages including hospital escort services upon request.
  • Insurance and direct billing support services with most international insurers.

Hospitalization & Insurance Tips
  1. Direct Billing services are not applicable for preventive benefits (medical check-up, vaccinations, appliances, and vitamins)
  2. Clients should make reservations for office visits. 
  3. Clients should bring your coverage card and a copy of ID card/ Passport. 
  4. Deposit or Credit card can be required as per the hospital or clinic’s procedures.
  5. Insurance Company covers normal, usual and customary charges for all treatments.
  6. It is recommended to book your appointment on website or phone in advance.
  7. Insurers may expect you to repay for certain services such as hospitalization, Endoscopy or services required prior preparation.
