CMI (Centre Médical International) was established in the early 1990s by French general practitioners as the first dedicated international outpatient clinic in Ho Chi Minh City. Over three decades later it remains the benchmark for multidisciplinary international care in Saigon — with an unusually broad team that includes not only GPs and medical specialists but also osteopaths, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychotherapists, psychomotor therapists and speech and language therapists. Its four-language operation (English, French, Vietnamese, Japanese) reflects the diversity of its long-term expat patient community. CMI is also the founding partner of the Fondation Alain Carpentier — a cardiac care humanitarian initiative — through which it funds heart surgery for underprivileged Vietnamese patients at the Heart Institute.

CMI is an outpatient clinic and does not provide inpatient or emergency resuscitation. For medical emergencies, proceed to the nearest A&E department. CMI can refer you to appropriate hospital care.
