Vinmec Phu Quoc International General Hospital opened in June 2015 as the first international-standard hospital on Phu Quoc Island — a decade before the subsequent wave of hospital investment on the island. Located in the Bai Dai Beach area, it was designed in harmony with nature: eco-friendly, flooded with natural light, and offering genuine rest and healing in a resort-quality environment. The hospital operates under JCI quality standards — the international gold standard for patient safety — and is staffed by a team of doctors drawn from Vietnam's most respected institutions and from international hospitals. A satellite clinic, Vinmec Duong Dong Clinic, extends the reach of the Vinmec system into the centre of Phu Quoc town.

Hospitalization & Insurance Notes
1Direct Billing is not applicable for preventive benefits: medical check-ups, vaccinations, appliances, and vitamins.
2Book in advance — patients should make reservations before attending specialist office visits.
3Bring your insurance coverage card and a copy of your ID card or passport to all visits and admissions.
4A deposit or credit card may be required as per the hospital's procedures, particularly for inpatient admissions.
5Insurance covers normal, usual and customary charges for all treatments. The hospital provides itemised invoices for international claim submission.
